Weihai Holds Training & Observation Event on Modern Orchard Mechanical Pruning

On February 10, the Training and Observation Event on Modern Orchard Mechanical Pruning in Weihai City, Shandong Province was held at the Experimental Farm of Weihai Academy of Agricultural Sciences.Technical backbones of fruit tree cultivation from all districts and cities, technical directors of modern dwarf‑rootstock apple orchards, and agricultural machinery extension personnel attended the training.Weihai ZY Modern Agricultural Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. participated in the demonstration and observation event with a full range of its orchard machinery.
On site, the exhibited orchard equipment included orchard picking platforms, multifunctional fertilizing machines, pruning machines, sprayers, root cutting machines, and others.Technicians from Weihai Zhongyi Modern Agricultural Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. gave a live demonstration of the newly developed fruit tree pruning machine.This machine is front‑mounted on a tractor, hydraulically driven, with adjustable cutting angles and working heights, and features high working efficiency.Mechanical pruning greatly reduces labor intensity and significantly improves production efficiency.
Through on‑site operation demonstrations, explanations and exchanges, the participants gained a clear understanding and experience of the advanced performance, practicality and effectiveness of the orchard machinery, providing strong technical support for the comprehensive promotion of mechanization in the fruit industry.
