Study Tour on High-Quality Development of Apple Industry and Modern Orchard Construction (Weihai, Shandong) Successfully Concluded

From August 21 to 23, the Study Tour on High-Quality Development of Apple Industry and Modern Orchard Construction (Weihai, Shandong Station), organized by the China Apple Industry Association and co-organized by the Weihai Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Shandong Apple Industry Association, was successfully concluded.Under the theme of "Broadening Vision through Observation and Discussion, Benchmarking Advanced Practices for Common Development", more than 50 participants from 7 major apple-producing provinces and regions across China attended the tour.
Present at the event were:Xing Xin, Deputy Director of Weihai Municipal Agricultural and Rural Affairs Service Center;Huang Song, Vice Chairman of China Apple Industry Association and Chairman of Weihai No.51 Farm Co., Ltd.;Pan Dehui, Vice Chairman of China Apple Industry Association and Chairman of Qixia Defeng Food Co., Ltd.;He Fatao, Executive Deputy Secretary-General of China Apple Industry Association, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of Jinan Fruit Research Institute under China Council for the Supply and Marketing Cooperatives;Yang Jie, Deputy Secretary-General of China Apple Industry Association;Ruan Shuxing, Deputy Secretary-General of China Apple Industry Association and President of Shandong Apple Industry Association.
On the mornings of August 22 and 23, the study tour group conducted in-depth field visits to 10 local enterprises and institutions related to the apple industry in Weihai, including Weihai Dexinhong Agricultural Technology Development Co., Ltd., Yueduo Fruit Industry Ecological Apple Planting Base, Rongcheng Zhengyu Farm, Shandong Wanze Agriculture Co., Ltd., Weihai Yingjuwa Seedlings Co., Ltd., Weihai No.51 Farm Co., Ltd., Weihai ZY Modern Agricultural Equipment Technology Co., Ltd., Xinyuan Fruit Industry (Shandong) Group Co., Ltd., Qingdao Luxun Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd., and Weihai Xinghaiyuan Net Equipment Co., Ltd.Participants carried out comprehensive observation and learning on seedling breeding bases, modern orchards, and orchard equipment and facilities in Weihai.
